In the heart of North Sydney, amidst a community brimming with compassion and dedication, Mary’s House Services shines as a beacon of hope for those affected by domestic violence and the volunteer team were recently bestowed with the prestigious Community Builder Award at the North Sydney Community Awards 2024.

In a heartwarming ceremony held at the Independent Theatre on April 19th, 2024, Mary’s House Services, represented by its devoted volunteer team, stood proudly alongside other local heroes as joint winners of the Community Builder Award with Greenway Tenants Group. This accolade, presented by Mayor Zoë Baker, celebrates the altruistic spirit and invaluable contributions of organizations and individuals dedicated to making North Sydney a kinder, more connected, and sustainable community.

Mary’s House Services has long been at the forefront of providing crucial support to women and children fleeing domestic violence, offering refuge, empowerment, and a path to healing.
