The walk is an annual community fundraising and awareness event that brings together local residents, businesses, schools, community groups, and supporters to say no to domestic and family violence in the community.
The purpose of our annual walk is twofold;
- Come together as caring citizens of all ages and with a common purpose to traverse the leafy suburbs, parklands and harbour view pathways of northern Sydney for 8.8km
- Create a greater awareness and fundraise to support Mary’s House Services.
Walk as an individual or call on your network of family, friends and colleagues to support you. Rally a group of mates and co-workers and start a team, broadening your reach and impact. Collectively we’re stronger as a community when we all come together and have fun subscribing to the same values. You can get Mary’s House Services t-shirt and cap from our merchandise store.
The day’s fundraising will support Mary’s House Services to provide more specialised social work for victim-survivors through our refuge and the many women who at varying stages of their domestic and family violence journey to participate in our practical, therapeutic and wellbeing community programs.
